Visto que eu tinha recentemente chegado dos Estados Unidos, uma amiga curiosa e ela portuguesa perguntou-me "O que achas da mulher portuguesa?"
Eu respondi, "Acho que ela é uma heroína."
Seeing as I had just arrived to Portugal from America a curious portuguese friend of mine asked me, "So, what do you think of the portuguese woman?"
"I think she is a heroine."

I remember a photo I saw of a portuguese woman lacing her husbands shoes. She was on her knie in the street while he was not even looking at her.
